Dr. Ashana Harryparsad- Prosthodontist

Dr Harryparsad qualified as a general dentist from the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg.

After completion of her community service at Eshowe Hospital in Kwa-Zulu Natal, she worked both in Johannesburg and Durban as a general dentist. During this time she also obtained a post-graduate diploma in Interceptive Orthodontics form the University of the Western Cape.

Whilst in Durban, Dr Harryparsd also voluntered at the Wentworth Cleft Lip and Palate Foundation.

Her passion for adventure and travel saw her spending 3 months on board the cruise liner Queen Victoria, where she practised cosmetic dentistry.

In 2009, Dr Harryparsad started her registrarship in Prosthodontics at the University of Pretoria. She completed this degree cum laude and was the first women to qualify in this discipline at the University of Pretoria.

Her professional memberships include: Health Professionals Council of South Africa (HPCSA), South African Dental Association (SADA), International College of Prosthodontists (ICP) and the International Society of Maxillofacial Research(iSMR).

Dr Harryparsad has a passion for creating beautiful smiles and achieving this within a multidisciplinary treatment approach.
