Dr. Sarah Mujinga- Doctor

Dr. Sarah is heading up our Bankcity Practice. She has all the spunk, humour and edge that the inner city needs. Dr. Sarah completed her studies at Wits and did her internship and community service in Klerksdorp and Potchestroom. She has a post graduate diploma in HIV management and a special interest in mental health.

Another area of medicine that is close to her heart is woman’s health. In our South African context, woman are so often are at the mercy of their providers and providing empowering, safe and up-skilling care to this population is high on Dr. Sarah’s agenda.  Change starts in the conversations we have with each other and in the care and kindnesses we share.

Dr Sarah knows that every encounter that she has with a patient has the potential to be a catalyst for positive change. This is what keeps her so inspired by the work that she does. She has the wisdom and insight to know that the biggest impact a doctor can make is in making meaningful human connection.

When Dr Sarah is not being a doctor, she is an avid traveler! After all, the world and its people are our greatest source of inspiration.
